About the Collection Foscarini Bit
Artful lighting design: The Bit wall lamps by Foscarini are meant to complement the popular Orbital floor lamp by the designer Ferruccio Laviani, and are part of the Italian light label's portfolio since 1993, and for this reason have the status of true Foscarini classical design lights.
The Orbital floor lamp as first designed by Laviani has five flat reflectors of silkscreened glass on a tripod structure. The five reflectors are separately available as Bit wall lamps. Each Bit wall lamp has a glass reflector featuring another organic shape. They are cheerful and colourful or come in monochromatic white. Furthermore the Foscarini Bit wall lamps do not require a wall outlet and are equipped with cable and plug and a integrated switch on the cable.
Each model is available in white. Bit 1 is additionally available in red, the small oval Bit 2 comes in blue, Bit 4 in green and Bit 5 in orange. Only the circular Bit 3 wall lamp is offered in white only.
Because of the diffuse light which passes through the shades, Bit creates a soft, pleasant atmosphere and additionally casts the atmospherical light onto the wall. A colourful colour combination and diverse Bit wall lamps mounted next to each others create an appealing colourful mural, and there is no limit set for the expression of creativity.
