About the Collection Foscarini Fields
The individual, modular Fields wall lights by Foscarini have simple and clear shapes that contrast with a rich, intense colour effect. The light fixture, which was designed by Vicente Garcia Jimenez in 2007, consists of various methacrylate and aluminum strips. The arrangement of the light fixtures creates different lighting effects onto the wall. Fields with its absolute, linear construction is available in two versions, white and orange.
Fields 1 is supplied as a single element, Fields, Fields 2 and Fields 3 consist of several elements, which can be supplied and assembled individually. Differently high layers of elements interlock and overlap to expand in different directions. It is therefore possible to use Fields on both larger and smaller walls. It is unobtrusive and restrained, but at the same time effective.
Due to its modularity and the possibility of illuminating even very large areas, the light fixture is also suitable in public spaces where larger, brighter elements are required. The wall lamp not only creates an enchanting, warm lighting effect, but also gives bare walls individual design accents.
Vicente Garcia Jimenez came up with the idea for the Fields light fixture when looking at the contrasting, wide fields of La Mancha, his Spanish home. Their clear geometry and lively colours are reflected in the light fixture. Fields is equipped with G5 fluorescent lamps and has an electronic ballast.
