The Bahia lights by the quality manufacturer Foscarini best illustrate the prized Italian elegance. They have an asymmetrical shape with a slightly futuristic appearance. Depending on the model, the structure is characterized by two or three different-sized, plate-like reflectors arranged one above the other. A mysterious light escapes between the reflectors and emphasizes Bahia's organic shape. The indirect light sets atmospheric accents in the room and contributes to a cozy atmosphere.
The collection includes Bahia and Bahia Mini, each of them is also available as a LED version. The Bahia My Light which can be controlled via Bluetooth and an integrated Casambi device came along later. The white color makes Bahia appear discreet and elegant in modern rooms with white walls. The asymmetrical, concentric circles are fascinating ornaments for empty walls - even when switched off.
Inspired by a lonely island lost in the vastness of the ocean, Paolo Lucidi & Luca Pevere created this sculptural masterpiece. The asymmetrical discs placed on top of each other should imitate the view that the two artists had when flying over an archipelago: the central vegetation, white sandy beaches and the outer section of the beach. The Bahia lights arouse longings, which also explains the name of this dreamy collection: "Bahia" is the Spanish word for "bay".
The Bahia lights are made of polycarbonate. This plastic is light, yet extremely robust, durable and easy to clean. Circular fluorescent tubes or integrated LEDs serve as the light sources. Due to its harmonious ambient light, the Bahia wall and ceiling light is an asset especially for the entrance area and hallways.
