Pallina which was first introduced in autumn 2019 is a FontanaArte collection comprising wall lamps, table lamps and suspensions with ball-shaped diffusers of satined glass. Because of the details of galvanized metal in refined brass, nickel, rose gold or sober black, the ball-shaped lights seem especially precious and of high value.
While the Pallina table lamp and the Pallina wall lamp each have a round metallic base, the Pallina suspension has a metallic frame which surrounds half of the spherical glass diffuser. Depending on one's taste, the suspension system of the suspension can be additionally coated with a metallic stem.
To create the light collection Pallina, the FontanaArte design lab drew inspiration from the ball-shaped light fixtures from the Broadway musicals from the 1940s and 1950s. The result are extremely elegant and beautifully shaped light fixtures which provide their surroundings with soft, diffuse light and work in many contexts. Hence, one can use the Pallina table lamp as a decorative lighting object on side tables or on bedside tables. The wall lamp, which can be mounted as a ceiling lamp on the ceiling, shines for example in corridors or over seatting groups. The suspension, on the contrary, serves as a stylish dining table or counter illumination.
Pallina by FontanaArte is equipped with G9 screw bases, enabling to exchange the LED lamp anytime.
