About the Collection FontanaArte Nobi
Nobi by FontanaArte was conceived by the creative feather of the design studio Metis Lighting that designed Nobi in 1992. Nobi is a collection of light fixtures, characterized by concave, rotatable glass plates.
Basically, the extraordinary designer light consists of a chrome-plated or nickel-plated metallic structure. The structure frames two concave and sand-blasted securit glass plates, put together and affixed to it by filigreed clamps and two sticks. The construction enables to rotate the diffuser on its own axis, enabling the light sources held by both sticks to direct their light beams in different directions if needed. If strictly indirect illumination is needed, Nobi can optionally be delivered with an available diffuser of anodized aluminium and a securit glass plate.
Because of the reflector's and consequently the light's flexible position, Nobi by FontanaArte is wonderfully functional and its function is reminiscent of convenient spotlights. Indeed, the Nobi light by FontanaArte is true to the principle "form follows function", yet the light fixture is decorative and an impressive eyecatcher with great radiant power. Nobi by Metis Lighting is available with R7s base or as an energy efficient LED version.
A reduced formal language, elegant effects and energy efficiency: the Nobi lights by FontanaArte are visual highlights and at the same time functional objects.
