About the Collection FontanaArte Meridiano
In their "Form of Light" project, the designers Gabriele and Oscar Buratti are devoting themselves to special shapes made of glass and metal and experimenting with their properties in relation to light. The project started in 2017 with the Equatore lights and was expanded in 2020 with the Meridiano and Tropico lights.
Meridiano is available as a medium-sized table lamp and as a pendant lamp in two different sizes. The collection is characterized by an impressive, egg-shaped shade made of blown glass, in which a tubular diffuser made of coated pyrex glass sits. The vertical, cylindrical tube is equipped with permanently installed LEDs and spreads the light softly into the glass capsule. Effective, diffuse light is created. Each selected glass colour - transparent, smokey grey or pink - exuding its very own charm.
An additional light source, a LED spot light, also guarantees direct light downwards, which can be activated separately using an on/off switch. The main light source is dimmable, which means that variable lighting effects can be created. The Meridiano pendant light gives the room an exquisite flair and shines both individually and in a lighting group made up of several Meridiano pendant lights.
