Fontanella Collection

The idea for the Fontanella table lamp came to the designer Frederico Peri when he became aware of the simplicity and beauty of an inverted glass and a metal tube when trying material samples in his design studio. As often in this trade, a simple and incidental action gave rise to a sophisticated idea for an artistic design object.

The Fontanella table lamp consists of a bulbous diffuser made of blown borosilicate glass and a cylindrical base made of galvanized metal. The fascinating thing about Fontanella: the base plunges into the glass shade and appears to be part of it. The lampshade which seemingly turns inside out, is reminiscent of water gushing out of a fountain turned into solid matter. A halogen or LED bulb with E14 or E27 socket is screwed into the base, which emits its light through the frosted glass wall inside the shade and ensures diffusely spread light. The light intensity can be varied using an integrated dimmer and ensures harmonious ambient lighting.

Fontanella is an authentic and extremely elegant design piece that exudes lightness and reveals real craftsmanship.
