About the Collection FontanaArte Flute

The light fixtures Flute by FontanaArte were produced based on a design by Franco Raggi and have been included in the FontanaArte portfolio since 1999. The collection comprises a wall lamp, a suspension and an uplighter in two different sizes.

The Flute lights are timelessly modern, seem noble and appeal with a formal design. A conical diffuser of transparent, temperature-resistant borosilicate glass contains the chrome-plated, shiny reflector of aluminium. The frame and the transparent electrical cable remain visible inside, which is not an impairment but a remarkable detail. Reflector and frame are supported by three horizontally placed metallic stems. The glass cone reflects the light and provides an even light distribution.

The Flute wall lamp and the Flute floor lamp produce a pleasant, indirect illumination - the conical diffuser is oriented upwards. Unlike the Flute XXL suspension which produces a direct, focused light downwards and is optimally suitable for illuminating tables.
