About the Collection FontanaArte Ashanghai

Table lamp Ashanghai by FontanaArte has been designed by Max Ingrand in 1955. It consists of a chrome-plated brass frame and a main diffuser in white, acid-etched cased blown glass. The top of the diffuser in float glass is made of a glass sheet sandblasted on both sides. The intricate and characteristic base is made from transparent borosilicate glass, the fixing points being also in chrome-plated brass.

Designer Max Ingrand was a famous master glass worker and decorator of French origin, who also worked as artistic director of FontanaArte for one decade. During this time he created several design classics, such as the table lamp FontanaArte Fontana, which is still one of the most popular products of the Italian premium manufacturer.

Note from the manufacturer: Clean the light with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents for this purpose.
