About the Collection Flos Stylos

The floor lamp Stylos was designed in 1984 by Achille Castiglioni and is an authentic Flos designer classic. The cylindrical light column spreads comfortable light and creates an atmospherical ambience.

The diffuser is made of opaline white PMMA and rests on a powder-painted steel base. There are two light sources, located at the upper end and lower end inside Stylos. The lamp at the upper aperture provides indirect, soft room light, while the lamp in the base coupled with the infra-red coating creates a diffuse ambient lighting.

When switched on, the column displays a unique radiance and offers a cozy light setting. Both light sources of the Stylos floor lamp can be controlled separately via the switch integrated in the cable.

Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: When cleaning the light fixture, please use only soft cloths. It is also possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Please, do not use alcohol or solvents!

Zeitloses und gutes Design

Ich habe die Stylo Leuchte seit einigen Jahren bei mir im Wohnzimmer stehen. Sie hat wunderschönes diffuses Licht und ist durch ihre zurückhaltende Eleganz fast eine Skulptur... Einziger Minuspunkt: das Wechseln der Leuchtmittel ist schwierig... ist aber ja nur selten nötig.
