The String Light LED suspension has a cable which is stretched at will in the room, and enables an individual construction. Thanks to a dimmable LED light, a memory function and diverse options for electrical connection, String Light leaves no wishes unfulfilled.
The designer Michael Anastassiades drew inspiration from the high tension lines connected by electrical poles, which form parallel lines seemingly dividing the landscape. Besides, he created a solution for ill-placed sockets. The "disturbing"cables are at the heart of his solution, and enable to suspend the shade wherever it is needed.
String Light is available with conical or ball-shaped light heads, with plugs or wall or ceiling sockets, and is equipped with electrical cables with a length of 12 or 22 meters. The String Light Sphera is the ball-shaped version for diffuse room light, while String Light Cone directs its light only downwards to ensure the illumination of tables and counters.
The light fixture can be suspended anywhere in the room. The long cable is stretched in the room or along the ceiling or the wall with the aid of the included fixations. The result are lines in the rooms which are perfectly complemented by geometric and clear light heads.
When placed above dining tables and working surfaces in the office, String Light offers not only a modern, unique eye-catcher, but also a comfortable light. The affixed LED lamps convince with a warm white colour temperature and an excellent colour rendering. The light is conveniently dimmable on the light head.
The shade is made of black, white or blue lacquered aluminium, the diffuser is of white polycarbonate. Cable and foot dimmer are also black, white or blue.
The electricity supply is ensured via a plug or a wall or ceiling outlet. Depending on the connection, the light shade is complemented with a ceiling rose or a foot dimmer. It is possible to connect a maximum of two light heads to one ceiling rose or foot dimmer. The ceiling rose offers three cable outlets while the foot switch has two.
The String Light collection, which was first launched in 2014, was revised in 2021. In addition to the colors blue and white, two different control options have been available since then. Thus, the light intensity can be regulated either via touch dimmer or via Casambi app and mobile device.
If needed, the additional cable enables further construction possibilities.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: The light fixture should be cleaned with soft cloths only.
It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Do not use alcohol or solvents!
