About the Collection Flos Splügen Bräu
The suspension Splügen Bräu by Flos was designed in 1961 by Achille Castiglioni and was originally meant for brasseries and restaurants. Today Splügen Bräu is still a fixed component of the Flos portfolio and ranks as a timeless designer light classic.
The reflecting shade consists of turned, polished and zapon lacquered aluminium. The polished surface and the wavy lines turn the light fixture into a special highlight with refined character. The ceiling rose is made of shiny white ABS, the ceiling fixation is made of steel.
Splügen Bräu spreads the light of the E27 lamp directly downwards and illuminates the surface located below with a cozy, warm light. When using a lamp with reflecting head, the light is entirely glare-free and is softly distributed downwards.
The Splügen Bräu suspension enriches every setting. Because of the area illumination, it is perfectly suitable for the illumination of dining tables or counters, and adapts also to corridors or other living spaces.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: When cleaning the light fixture, only soft cloths must be used. It is also possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Please do not use alcohol or solvents!
