About the Collection Flos Ray
The Flos Ray collection was designed by the Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni in 2007 and consists of a floor and table lamp. According to Dordoni, Ray represents a mixture of a lighthouse and an electricity pylon. In fact, the striking luminaire structure reminds of this source of inspiration: it consists of filigree and partially intersecting chrome-plated steel bars.
The shade of the Ray lights has a classic cylindrical shape and is made of either black or white painted metal or a grey glass. Depending on the selected version, the lighting effect also differs: the grey version with the double, blown glass provides direct, diffuse light. The metal shades made of liquid-coated, twisted aluminum foil, emit their light indirectly upwards and downwards - the light does not penetrate through the shades.
Flos Ray is equipped with a screw base for E27 halogen or LED lamps and have a dimmer integrated in the cable.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: The light fixture should be cleaned with soft cloths only.
It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Do not use alcohol or solvents!
