About the Collection Flos Pointbreak
Piero Lissoni designed the Pointbreak outdoor lighting collection for Flos, which has been part of the range since 2021. Its reduced design, which is restrained and yet elegantly fits into any outdoor architecture, as well as the high visual comfort of the light make Pointbreak a high class outdoor light.
Pointbreak is available as a bollard lamp or partially recessed light. The characteristic Squircle shape of the body can be found in every Pointbreak model. The extruded aluminum light fixtures are available in a variety of sleek colour tones. The surface of the transparent polycarbonate diffusers is always scratch-resistant and UV-stabilized.
Note: In our online shop, the Pointbreak lights are offered with warm white 2700K and are not dimmable. However, on request they can also be supplied with 3000K LEDs or 4000K LEDs, as well as with dimmable DALI or 1-10V controls.
Pointbreak Bollard
Flos Pointbreak bollard lights are available in two sizes (8 or 12 cm wide) and three different heights (30, 60 and 90 cm). The die-cast aluminium head with a polycarbonate diffuser sits on the body's top. The patented high-performance optics integrated in the head ensure an asymmetrical, radially downward light emission, while the black-painted aluminum reflector prevents indirect reflections.
Pointbreak bollard light fixtures are installed with dowels on any type of ground. In this case, the non-corrosive technopolymer base is connected to the fastening element. A special anchorage plate can also be ordered upon request to fully integrate the base into the ground.
Pointbreak Balisage
Pointbreak Balisage are extremely refined partially recessed lights, which are firmly fixed in the floor with the help of a recessed housing included in the delivery. The small light fixtures blend particularly discreetly and unobtrusively into their surroundings, accentuating the materiality of the ground with their warm white radial light and thus showing passers-by the way.
