About the Collection Flos Oplight
The LED wall lamp Oplight by Flos is signed by Jasper Morrison who already conceived the popular Flos Smithfield and Flos Glo-Ball. Oplight has been included in the famous Italian light manufacture's portfolio since 2021.
Oplight is composed of a wall mounting and a flat, oval plate of powder-painted cast aluminium, equipped with integrated LEDs on its top. A diffuser of semi-transparent polycarbonate moulded by injection covers the LEDs and provides even, indirect illumination. The reduced, minimalist shaping and the appealing surface lacquer turn Flos Oplight into a versatile light fixture which adapts in the most various architectural contexts.
The future-oriented design is made obvious by the sustainable material composition. Injection moulded aluminium is a lightweight, durable material which is easily recyclable. The powder-painting method does not require solvents, which is eco-friendly.
The LED circuit board integrated in Oplight is highly efficient and after a life-time of 50,000 illumination hours or in case of a defective function, it can be replaced by a qualified person while the rest of the light fixture remains untouched. Because no glue is used when assembling the diverse components, the single parts can be exchanged and separately recycled.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: The light fixture should be cleaned with soft cloths only.
It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Do not use alcohol or solvents!
