A LED lamp with technical properties that will definitely be part of the standard equipment for modern desk or reading lamps in the future: In autumn 2020, Flos presented Oblique and Oblique Qi, two LED table lamps that score with timeless aesthetics, energy efficiency and multifunctionality. Since spring 2022, the collection has been expanded with two floor lamps.
The minimalist Oblique lamp consists of a circular base, a straight, slim lamp rod and a round diffuser disc. The body is made of painted die-cast aluminum. Several surface colours set appealing, subtle or more conspicuous accents.
A patented, ultra-flat and asymmetrical lens is built into the lamp head, which optimizes the light emission and distributes the light in a focused downward direction. The lens is hidden behind a methacrylate diffuser, which ensures glare-free light. The light distribution is optimally adapted to the requirements for efficient work light and is therefore perfect for office desks and desks or as a reading light next to the couch.
But Oblique can do more than just create optimal work light: Almost every model is equipped with a USB-C connection point with which electronic devices can be charged. The Oblique Qi table lamp even allows smartphones to be charged wirelessly by simply placing them on the base. The table lamp base is also equipped with an dimmer switch with an integrated timer. The Oblique Floor has a push button on the lamp head.
The light of the oblique is extra warm white with 2700K. On request, cooler color temperatures (3000K and 4000K) are also available, which can have an activating effect on work performance and concentration.
Oblique fits into minimalist, modern interiors, but also fits wonderfully into rustic surroundings.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: The light fixture should be cleaned with soft cloths only.
It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Do not use alcohol or solvents!
