Flos
Miss K Collection

Design by Philippe Starck

The popular Miss K table lamp by Flos was designed by Philippe Starck in 2003. It can be described as the predecessor of the KTribe collection launched in 2005, as the lampshades are almost identically.

Miss K has the shape of a classic table lamp. The conical shade sits on a lamp base made of transparent, injection-molded PMMA and the power cable is visible. While the shade of the Miss K Soft is made of pleated textile fabric, the classic Miss K consists of a semi-transparent, steamed polycarbonate shade with an appealing groove structure.

Inside is a second diffuser made of polycarbonate, which remains hidden when switched off but whose silhouette is revealed when the light is switched on. This creates an attractive and surprising effect. The light is pleasantly glare-free and diffused softly. It is perfect to create harmonious oases of light on bedside tables, window sills or sideboards.

There is a dimmer with a transparent housing on the two-core, transparent cable, with which the light intensity can be regulated from 0 to 100%.

Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: The light fixture should be cleaned with soft cloths only. It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Do not use alcohol or solvents!
