About the Collection Flos Mile
The Flos Mile collection by designer Antonio Citterio comprises a large array of minimalistic LED exterior lights which can be integrated in many diverse architectural surroundings. They shine with a reduced, clear design, a harmonious lighting effect and a good corrosion resistance. All Mile exterior lights by Flos are protected against every weathering with an IP65 protection index.
The material of which the robust light body consists is extruded aluminium, the fixation screws are made of corrosion-resistant steel (AISI 316L) and the diffuser is made of UV-resistant, transparent polycarbonate. The asymmetrical reflector shade is made of pure anodized and polished aluminium. The LEDs are integrated in the back which reduces direct glare. The double layer of powder-paint with chemical conversion treatment protects against corrosion. All Flos Mile models project an asymmetrical light beam which is especially warm white with 2700 Kelvin. Each model, presented in our online shop, is available on request with warm white 3000K LEDs or even brighter 4000K LEDs.
The Flos Mile bollard lights are offered in two sizes (60 cm or 90 cm high) with 12 cm of width (Mile Bollard 1) or with a width of 24 cm (Mile Bollard 2). Besides, they are optionally available with emission on one side (Mile Bollard Mono) or emission on two sides (Mile Bollard Double). The Mile bollard lights which serve for the illumination of broader paths or drives do not feature visible screws in the frame. The raised base ensures a simple and fast installation on the floor.
The Flos Mile exterior wall lights are available in two different width and in the same surface colours as the bollard lights. Additionally, a version covered with a primer coat is offered which enables to paint the light fixture with the water-based colour of your choice. Besides, there are wall lamps for single light emission upwards or downwards and models for uplight & downlight.
