About the Collection Flos Céramique
The table lamps of the Céramique collection are Flos' debut with ceramics and follow the designs by the French designer Ronan Bouroullec. The Italian manufacturer's drive for innovation, manifest in the use of ceramics as a material, is associated with Bouroullec's rational approach of shape and aesthetics to create these special table lamps.
Céramique is the result of a long development process that had to face the technical challenges of a serial production of three ceramic light fixtures in various sizes and with diverse lighting directions. The result is a unique collection that unites craftmanship with elegance and convinces with attention to detail and durable, timeless design.
The Céramique table lights consist of a round base, a vertical light body and a rounded shade of ceramics. The surface is lacquered with a lead-free, crystal finish. The colour range reinforces the smooth surfaces and the elegant appearance. A diffuser of polycarbonate spreads the E27 lamp's light evenly and glare-free. It is possible to adjust the light intensity via a cable integrated dimmer.
The shade of every Céramique light is directed differently and cannot be shifted. Céramique Down has a light beam steered obliquely downwards, Céramique Up provides an indirect illumination upwards and Céramique Side casts the light towards one side.
Flos Céramique is a timeless design object, manufactured to last for generations. Each element can be simply removed for repair or exchange works.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: When cleaning the light fixture, only soft cloths must be used. It is also possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Please, do not use alcohol or solvents!
