About the Collection Flos Bellhop
Light without a socket - Bellhop by Flos makes it possible! According to the designer duo Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, Bellhop was designed as they were commissioned to create a table lamp for the new London Design Museum. The Bellhop lights for inside appeal with their clear shape devoid of superfluous details, inspired by bellhops' uniforms. The high, circular light fixture is shaped like the hats worn by bellhops.
The convenient, rechargeable table lamp has a rechargeable battery and can be carried around where an atmospheric light is needed. Base and shade as well as the opaline diffuser are made of polycarbonate. A USB-C connection enables to conveniently load the Bellhop battery table lamp, while the current battery status is displayed on the light's base. A USB loading cable with a length of 120 cm is included in the delivery of the Bellhop battery table lamp. The table light can be dimmed in a four tiered process with the aid of the push-button located on the base. The shade spreads direct light downwards, while the integrated innovative Edge-Lighting technology creates a wonderful, glare-free light circle, responsible for an harmonious atmosphere.
The collection Bellhop has also been available as an LED floor lamp since 2021. Its long, slim rod is made of optionally colored lacquered aluminum, the shade in the characteristic bellhop shape is made of blown glass. The light is distributed indirectly.
Bellhop Wall, launched in automn 2022, is the collection's wall lamp model. The polycarbonate casing is also available in bright colours and emits the LED light indirectly upwards.
Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: The light fixture should be cleaned with soft cloths only.
It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Do not use alcohol or solvents!
