Flos
265 Collection

Design by Paolo Rizzatto

The wall lamps 265 by Flos ensure direct lighting and can cover a radius of up to more than two meters with light.

The original model of the 265 light fixture was designed in 1973 by Paolo Rizzatto who was mainly interested in architecture. For 265, he was inspired by the works of Calder and produced a light fixture similar to a mobile. The reflector and the adjustable arm of steel are available with a white or black lacquered surface. The reflector holder is made of chromed brass. The conical counterweight consists of cast iron and enables an horizontal and a vertical arm movement. The wall fixation is made of liquid painted steel. The wall lamps 265 are operated via a cable with plug using a wall socket. The on/off switch is located on the light head.

Since 2021, there is Flos 265 as Chromatica with red reflector head, blue light stem and yellow counterweight and since automn 2022 the 265 Small with smaller dimensions has been complementing the popular Flos collection.

The fancy and timeless wall lamp enables several uses in the living area. Thanks to its outreach and adjustability, it can serve for example as a dining table illumination, for illuminating seating areas or counters, as reading illumination next to the bed or as working illumination in workshops or offices.

The Flos designer classic 265 fulfills not only functional criteria, but is, because of its special and catchy design, an aesthetical highlight in modernly or classically furnished surroundings.

Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: When cleaning the light fixture, only soft cloths should be used. It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Whether alcohol nor solvents should be used!
