The battery-operated table lamp Bon Jour Unplugged by Flos offers four-stage dimmable LED light and flexible handling thanks to wireless operation. The lamp by Philippe Starck is a small-sized, battery-operated addition to his Bon Jour table lamp. Like the original, it inspires with a modern design and numerous variants.
The lamp made of aluminum, ABS and PMMA convinces with a compact, slim silhouette. Base and rod form a unit with beautiful curves and harmonious proportions. The round and flat cover on the top shields the light upwards and thus provides direct light, illuminating tables and other surfaces. The base, rod and cover are kept in the same surface finish: minimalist white, shiny or matt chrome or shiny copper for a particularly elegant look.
Bon Jour Unplugged can also be equipped with various so-called crowns. These are lampshades that significantly influence the lighting effects and overall appearance of the lamp. They consist of transparent or tinted plastic, smooth or with a corrugated structure, resulting in a modern design, or of rattan or textile ribbon “Soft” for a classic, homely flair.
The integrated LEDs impress with warm white light and very good color rendering. The used Edge Lighting technology combines high visual comfort with high light output, and results in a particularly cozy light source for every occasion.
The light can be dimmed in four stages and is conveniently operated via an optical sensor that sits on the lamp base.
The battery is integrated in the base and offers a maximum runtime of 6 hours at the brightest light setting. It is charged using the supplied micro USB cable.
Whether as a reading light next to the bed or in the reading corner, as a light accent on a sideboard or for romantic lighting on the dining table, the wireless table lamp Bon Jour Unplugged is perfect for a wide variety of indoor tasks.
Philippe Starck also created the two related collections Bon Jour and Bon Jour Versailles.
