Fabbian
Saya Collection

The suspension collection Saya by Gio Minelli and Marco Fossati for Fabbian impresses with special light bodies which unite oriental aesthetics with traditional Venetian glass art.

The shapes of the Saya suspensions are inspired by large dew drops, composed of numerous bent metallic stems. The glass diffuser is blown directly in the cage-like metallic grid and swells softly between the stems. The metallic stems and the ceiling rose are optionally burnished, gold-coloured or chrome-plated, while the glass diffuser comes in shiny white or transparent, and thus creates various lighting effects. Each glass version has a special appeal: the transparent version creates a sparkling light, while the white version provides a more diffuse light and emphasizes the metallic grid.

For the versions made of clear glass, we recommend the use of a LED filament so that the lamp remains visible. For the versions of white glass, the lamp remains concealed. The version with a burnished structure is also available as a version with IP54 protection index. Thanks to it, it is protected against water sprinkled from all the directions and can also be installed outside in a sheltered area.

Each Saya suspension is a decorative highlight of its own. It impresses yet especially as a combination of several models. Saya lights are suitable for large rooms, for example bars, restaurants, shops or lobbies, and adapt to surroundings in classical, rustical and industrial styles. Especially the chrome-plated versions wonderfully integrate in modernly furnished rooms.
