The idea behind the Glu light fixtures by Pellegrini+Mengato Design comes from satellites in orbit around planets.
The Glu suspension's laser-cut, white aluminium body reproduces this image and consists of a ring, connected with a thin plate, located in the middle. The open structure lends Glu a floating character and a unique allure. The permanently installed LEDs ensure a generously spread indirect illumination.
The Glu wall lamp has a thin metallic plate which is the main component and is placed in an oblique position to the wall. The LEDs spread an indirect lighting against the wall, and create a warm and sensual atmosphere.
The Glu collection convinces with a very modern design and appealing light and shadow effects. The suspension is suited for private living spaces over a kitchen table and for illuminating desks. Because of its low weight and open structure, Glu does not clutter its surroundings, but appears delicate and airy.
