Gio Minelli and Marco Fossati designed the Acoustica suspensions for Fabbian. The shade of the special light fixture is inspired of cymbals which are responsible for the drumset's short sounds. The name of the "Acustica" light by Fabbian reflects its special properties. A broad, flat shade, which can be slightly tilted, absorbs the sounds, reversing the drumset's function.
The acoustic absorption provides a high acoustic comfort. Especially in public rooms like restaurants, waiting rooms and luxurious offices, the Fabbian Acustica suspensions are an excellent choice because they reduce the noise level and create a pleasant and wellcoming atmosphere.
The feather-light, minimalist appeal and the differently coloured surfaces turn Fabbian Acustica into a visually charming eyecatcher which can also be an original composition in the room.
The shade of the sound absorbing suspension is made of recycled PET, while the structure is made of black, anodized aluminium. A diffuser of PMMA covers the integrated LEDs and distributes the light evenly, directly, downwards.
