Pila is a design by the Spanish Designduo CrousCalogero for the label Estiluz and combines the materials, cork and aluminium into a highly aesthetic design object.
There are suspensions as well as an especially nonchalant table lamp in the collection.
The light head consists of two cylindrical, softly rounded elements, one of matt lacquered aluminium, the other of cork. In the larger aluminium element, there are permanently integrated LEDs and an acrylic diffuser which emits in one direction and provides direct illumination.
As a suspension, Pila is perfectly suited for the illumination of tables and counters, while the table lamp sets lighting accents on sideboards or window sills, and creates a visual highlight thanks to its fancy shape and material combination.
