Piero Lissoni

Piero Lissoni, born in 1956 in Seregno in Italy, is an internationally successful architect and designer. He has designed pieces of furniture for Kartell and lights for Flos. He also worked in yacht design, graphic design and interior architecture.

In 1986, Lissoni founded Lissoni Associati, his own design and architecture studio. More companies followed, to support the various fields of interest of Lissoni and his team. As an interior architect, Lissoni designed many hotels, he developed catalogue layouts and corporate identities, and was a product designer for well-known companies, such as Alessi, Illy and Wella.

Piero Lissoni's lights and pieces of furniture stand out with their modern designs and great variety. For Kartell, he has designed sofas and armchairs with modern charm, like the seating found in the Plastic and Pop collections, with frames made of synthetic materials and soft, colourful upholstery, as well as the Audrey chair.

For Flos, Lissoni created indoor and outdoor lights with a clear and modern formal language. The minimalist Climber spot light and the organic recessed lights A-Round excel with discreet elegance, fitting in many architectural styles. Piero Lissoni also designed Flos Clara and Button and several simple, functional lights for Flos Architectural.
