Manuel Vivian, who was born in Venice in 1971, graduated from the Venice Art Institute and already worked as a designer during his youth, most notably creating objects of blown glass. Following the success of his first glass objects, Manuel Vivian extended the field of his interests and focussed on other sectors of interior design.
Since Axo Light's foundation in 1996, Manuel Vivian has been working for the light manufacture. Today Manuel Vivian is a designer benefitting from a long experience and expertise of traditional Italian craftsmanship and traditional manufacturing methods. He favours an unlimited experimental approach when designing. The result are famous and long-lasting collections by Axo Light, such as Bell, Skin, Aura, Clavius, Spirally, Fairy, Virtus, Polia LED, Framework LED and many more.
