Eliana Gerotto was born in Venice in 1951 and studied communication technique. The foundation for her professional career was laid in Milan where she established herself as a graphic designer, amongst others for the Parisian magazine Elle and for the Biennale of Venice. Today Eliana Gerotto works not only in the field of graphic design, but also as a product designer and as an interior consultant. Interior decoration for private homes, office rooms, restaurants, hotels and commercial spaces plays a significant role in her creative activity. Eliana Gerotto already worked together with quality brands like Benetton, Molteni & C, ArchLinea and Vernini.
Together with the designer Patricia Urquiola, Eliana Gerotto designed the Caboche light for Foscarini in 2005. The impressive chandelier consists of methacrylate balls, arranged in such a manner as to form a large bracelet of beads with a central light source, and is now a modern, iconic light fixture.
