About the Collection Contardi Calypso
Calypso by Contardi is a collection of indoor and outdoor lamps in Art Deco style. The fabrics, whose textures and geometric patterns in black and white are mixed with bright colors, were inspired by South American and tropical cultures. The indoor pendant lights feature a green braided silk cord. The suspension is a satin brass ring. The diffusers are made of transparent glass on all models.
The Calypso SO Outdoor and SO XL Outdoor pendant lights for outdoor use have IP65 protection, so they are real outdoor lights. The waterproof and fireproof fabrics they are made of are suitable to withstand atmospheric agents at particularly high or low temperatures, while preserving the colors and the quality of craftsmanship of the product. The electric cables pass through the green colored marine rope and the suspension, which consists of a smoothed piece of circular and conical shape with a satin brass finish. The light source is housed in a glass cylinder that is sealed to ensure an IP65 rating. The Calypso FL Outdoor floor lamp is also supplied with an IP68 plug.
