About the Collection Cini & Nils Fari
The Fari spot lights by Cini & Nils set focussed lighting accents. This is made possible by the flexibly adjustable structure in which a reflector lamp has been placed. Fari was designed by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi in 1994 and complemented with the smaller miniFari version in 1998.
The collection comprises the Fariuno wall and ceiling lamp with a light source and the Faridue version with two spot lights. They are equipped with PAR30 reflector lamps.
The miniFari lights are spot lights featuring the same design but smaller dimensions and using PAR16 lamps. There is a wall and ceiling lamp with two reflectors called miniFaridue, as well as diverse miniFariuno with a reflector head. They are available as a version without a light stem and as versions with three light stems of different lengths. The two longest versions serve only as ceiling lamps and replace a suspension, because they are suitable for illuminating tables, counters and working surfaces, but also in rooms with high ceilings.
The structure consists of ring-shaped and bent arms which are mobile at three points. Each light rotates on its base by 320 degrees, the external ring is adjustable by 270 degrees and the spot light by 90 degrees.
The visible lamp is in this airy construction seems both functional and technical, but also has a decorative character.
Fari can serve in modern living spaces as well as in commercial spaces, offices and public buildings.
The light fixtures are made of technopolymer, for example zama, and available in mat silver or shiny chrome.
