About the Collection Catellani & Smith Syphasera
The spike lamp Syphasera by Catellani & Smith sets precious lighting accents in gardens and naturally fits into meadows and flower beds. It was designed by Maurizio Quargnale.
Syphasera consists of a delicate lamp rod and an opaline glass diffuser with slender, cylindrical shape, and is reminiscent of bulrush. Among the plants, in high grass or reeds, the luminaires feel discreet and harmoniious, while their soft light provides atmospheric accents and a cozy background illumination near a terrace or garden benches.
Syphasera can be stuck in the ground to a depth of max. 25 cm.
The brass rod of Syphasera is treated with black lacquer, protecting it against humidity. It is suitable for outdoor use, but dis not protected against submersion in water. The corresponds to IP44 protection index.
Please note that there are multiple options for power supply. The required drivers and accessories are not included and are to be purchased separately.
