About the Collection Catellani & Smith Sorry Giotto
The LED lamps Sorry Giotto by Catellani & Smith are characterized by a minimalist design. Enzo Catellani wanted to create a lighting object that does not feel invasive, based on one of the most elementary shapes, the circle.
The collection comprises a table lamp with a single ring, a floor lamp with three asymmetrically arranged rings and a pendant lamp available in two sizes.
The rings are made of copper and are lacquered blue by hand. The LEDs are integrated in the rings without affected their perfectly circular, no-frills silhouette. The iron structure is just as minimalist and is available in discreet black or in natural, rough iron.
When placed in the corner of a room or on a sideboard, the Sorry Giotto lamps shine an atmospheric light on the wall and look delightful even when the light is turned off, presenting as a modern, beautifully lightweight sculpture.
The floor lamp Sorry Giotto 3 was honoured at the Wallpaper Design Awards 2012.
