About the Collection Catellani & Smith Lucenera
The lamps Lucenera by Catellani & Smith provide adjustable and focusable direct lighting. The collection includes a floor lamp, a table lamp, wall lamps as well as a ceiling lamp and a pendant light. Enzo Catellani was following a minimalist design idea: the lamps are reduced to their essentials and allow the light itself and the illuminated objects to take centre stage.
The luminaires feature simple cylindrical reflector heads, made either of black carbon fibre or of white techno fibre. The structures are made of metal, optionally with a rubber-coated flex arm in the same colour as the head.
Most lamps in the collection allow to adjust the light's direction. In addition, beam angle and light intensity can be modified by pushing the cylinder backward or forward. The result is a customizable illumination that can serve as reading light, as decorative lighting accent or as direct illumination for dining tables or counter tops.
