The LED pendant lamps Jackie O by Catellani & Smith feature a delicate design, making them nearly invisible. The collection by Enzo Catellani includes two single pendants with different options for ceiling mounting, and multiple pendant lamps with square or rectangular ceiling canopies and different numbers of light pendants.
The shape arose from the wish to use the delicate design of the Wa Wa lamp series for a pendant lamp with direct lighting.
The Jackie O lighting pendants are composed of an elegantly bent stick made of nickel-plated copper, holding a removable glass lens and the LED light source. The lamp head is suspended from the ceiling with a very thin blue electrical cable, seemingly vanishing into its surroundings. With this design, Catellani aims for the "absolute zero", the greatest possible reduction of design, making lamp and cable nearly invisible.
