About the Collection Catellani & Smith Bellatrix
The large LED wall lamp Bellatrix by Catellani & Smith provides an atmospherical, indirect illumination that highlights the large reflector plate's irregular surface and noble foil gold coating. Optionally, the furrows run straight or winding outwards. Because the surface structure is made by hand, its precise structure differs from one exemplar to the other. Each Bellatrix wall lamp is a unique piece with unparalleled details. In addition, the brass arm holding the LEDs is affixed with a flexible arm on the reflector plate and can be adjusted to influence the light direction. This modifies the light incidence and the cast shadows on the structured aluminium plate and thus the gold-coated surface's lively brilliance.
The aluminium plate is located at a small distance in front of the wall and affixed with a central wall mounting. The plate's back is lacquered in blue, the wall mounting in white.
