About the Collection Brand van Egmond Kelp
The designer William Brand is known for imaginative, sculptural lights based on natural shapes. His Kelp collection, launched in 2014, also impresses with these characteristics and breaks with traditional ideas of a chandelier.
The Kelp lampshades characterize curved metal strips, which imitate the eponymous underwater plants. While the shades of the Kelp Element 25 and Kelp Element 50 pendant lights appear airy and light with their open structure and seem to dance in the air, the Kelp Round, Oval and Conical chandeliers are magnificent lighting objects, that have a huge presence in large reception halls, foyers or other rooms with high ceilings. The bulbs are screwed onto the small metal balls. Their tips spread the light directly upwards, to the side and downwards.
Kelp is another fascinating art and light object from Brand van Egmond - they spread individuality and luxury and shine with the usual flawless metal processing. The Kelp collection has a wide range of selectable surfaces, which give the lights an additional gorgeous or subtle look.
