About the Collection Bover Dome
The Dome suspension was designed in 2015 by Benedetta Tagliabue for the Spanish light brand Bover. The light fixture has the appearance of a lighting sculpture and shines with a unmistakable aesthetics and a very beautiful light.
Dome's structure is made of iron and aluminium. The shade is made of small beech wood fragments, carefully put together by hand and jointed one after the other. The light of the fixed installed LED module shines downwards and creates fancy patterns on the surface located below. The version with 25W lighting performance additionally produces an atmospherical surrounding light.
The cable can be varied in height from 15 cm to a maximum of 225 cm and effortlessly adapts to the various room heights. The light intensity can be adjusted via an external trailing-edge dimmer.
Bover Dome is more than a furniture - it is above all an artistic object that significantly impacts on a room's aesthetics and gives it a special personality. The wood lends a cozy note to the surroundings and the light creating artful shadow patterns turns dining areas into homely, comfortable islands.
