About the Collection B.Lux Cone Light
Cone Light has been included in the portfolio of the Basque light manufacturer B.Lux since 2016. The series design comes from the German designer Werner Aisslinger and comprises two suspensions and a wall lamp. The light source for the Cone Light lights were classical, foldable shopping bags of paper, as formerly used to stow purchases.
Cone Light's shade has a conical shape and the light body opens downwards. The light shade is made of glazed ceramics (bone china) with translucent properties and lets the light emitted by the lamp pass through in a subdued way. Thus, a very soft light is generated. Besides, the light shines directly downwards. The wall lamp Cone Light W projects a beautiful luminous cone downwards on the wall, while the suspensions included in the collection illuminate the surface located below.
The ceramic shade in matt white is textured, while the structure is coated with copper and forms an appealing visual contrast to the white shade.
The suspensions are an attractive lighting solution over kitchen counters or working and dining tables. The wall lamp can serve over bedside tables, entry halls or in corridors. It works in a private context, but also in restaurants and other commercial environments.
