About the Collection B.Lux Aspen
When designing the Aspen series for the Basque manufacturer B.Lux, the famous German designer Werner Aisslinger was inspired by the spirit of the 1960s in the USA, which was not least celebrated in Aspen, a famous ski resort in Colorado.
B.Lux Aspen is available as a pendant, floor or ceiling lamp, in a choice of different shapes and appealing matt pastel colours. The shades made of lacquered aluminum have the shape of a narrow or wide cylinder. The Aspen floor and pendant light have an attractive double shade that emits direct light downwards and indirect light towards the ceiling. While the outside is painted in colour, the inside of the shade is always white, which means that the light emitted is reflected more strongly.
The highlight of the lights, however, lies in the lattice structure. It ensures diffusely spread light, which in the case of the Aspen ceiling lights creates impressive light and shadow sequences on the ceiling. The grid structure is without a doubt the design highlight of the B.Lux Aspen lights and can be found in every version of the collection.
The Aspen collection is designed for linear halogen lights, but it also offers LED lights. If Aspen has a double shade, their colour combinations can also be requested individually. In every colour combination, Aspen reflects the incomparable style of the "Swinging Sixties".
