B.Lux
AMS Collection

AMS is the abbreviation for "Arab Minimal Style" and the name of the light collection by designer David Abad, first presented at the Light+Building in Frankfurt in 2014. The attractive exterior lights are reminiscent of traditional Arabian light fixtures and create a very special appeal in the outdoor environment.

The light body of the AMS floor lamps is cube-shaped and available in three sizes. The cube is made of Corten steel or stainless steel and pierced all around with geometrical apertures, reminiscent of tetrominoes as used in the Tetris game. This pure geometry is a visual highlight, yet paired with the dramatic lighting effect, AMS is an authentic piece of art. The light emitted by the lamp passes through the apertures and a wonderful light and shadow pattern appears.

B.Lux AMS seems especially decorative when lights of various sizes are placed next to each other. Even when placed singly, for example on garden tables, the compact AMS 12 is an outstanding light source for atmospherical lighting. Because of its IP54 protection class, the light fixture is protected against dirt and sprinkled water. Therefore it is ideally suited for gardens, terraces, balconies, drives and elsewhere outside.
