About the Collection Belux U-Turn
The light collection U-Turn by Michel Charlot for Belux offers glare-free accent light and ensures maximum flexibility of the light direction. Thanks to a magnetic ball joint, the light spots of the light fixtures can be adjusted with a simple gesture and even completely turned over.
Belux U-Turn comprises modern LED suspensions, table lamps, floor lamps and wall lamps of high-quality cast aluminium with, as central elements, the ball joint and the round, palm sized light head. There is a magnetic hollow in the middle that is placed on a metallic ball. Thanks to this mechanism, the light head can be moved slightly and the light direction can be adjusted. The hollow is magnetic on both sides so that the ball can be simply detached, turned and placed on it again. The result is a direct or indirect lighting depending on the needs. U-Turn can also illuminate surfaces and serve as a reading light, or provide indirect room illumination as an uplighter.
In addition, U-Turn's illumination angle can be adjusted continuously from 40 degrees to 80 degrees. The smaller the illumination angle, the more focussed and smaller the light cone.
The light fixtures in the U-Turn collection by Belux are made of aluminium and steel, adapt to modern and minimalistic interiors and can be dimmed depending on the chosen version.
Care instructions of the manufacturer: Light fixture to be cleaned only with conventional, non-aggressive cleaning products. Alcohol, benzol, acetone or acids can damage the surface. Fat and dirt can reduce the abrasion and holding power in the ball joint. This can be prevented by cleaning with a damp cloth.
