About the Collection Baltensweiler Pio - Pina LED
The Pio and Pina LED lamps by Baltensweiler offer flexibly adjustable reading light that can be dimmed in stages and focused more precisely with the help of accessories. The collection includes the Pio floor lamp and the Pina table lamp, the two only differing in the length of their double arm structure.
Pina and Pio have a flat, round lamp head made of aluminium, which is attached to the two-armed structure with a ball joint. Two joints give the lamp structure a large radius of action. The head can also be flexibly repositioned and enables targeted lighting on desks, bedside tables or next to the sofa. On the underside of the head, the LED is located inside a shallow indentation, so that its light is directed in one direction and its glare somewhat reduced. The push button next to the LED allows the light to be comfortably switched on and off or dimmed in five stages. Thanks to the Memory function, the lamps return to the last-selected brightness setting when they are switched back on.
The beam angle is 120°, but can be changed using optional optical attachments that are available separately. There are three attachments to choose from: 20° for targeted accents and selective illumination; 60° for wider accent lighting of objects, walls and tables; 100° for wide illumination. The optics also ensure more glare control. They attach magnetically to the lamp head and can be removed or replaced at any time. Depending on the beam angle, the optics accessories have different shapes and thus also change the appearance of the lamp itself.
The optics are not included in the scope of delivery.
The new lamp head was introduced in 2018. The optical attachments are not compatible with older models.
The lights must not be operated with external dimmers.
