About the Collection Baltensweiler HALO LED
The LED lamps HALO by Baltenweiler offer highly variable LED light and a timeless design by Rico and Rosmarie Baltensweiler, originally developed for halogen lamps in 1972. The LED versions that are now available impress with modern lighting technology and lower energy consumption. The collection includes an LED floor lamp and an LED table lamp, both available with or without Dim-To-Warm and finished in two colours.
The cylindrical reflector head sits horizontally on the lamp rod, can be moved up and down along the rod and also pivoted and rotated around its axis. The light can therefore be directed very flexibly and can provide direct or indirect lighting. As a visible design element, the cable runs outside the rod to the lamp head. Located on the cable is the slim, cylindrical driver housing with the main switch. The light can also be controlled via a touch dimmer, which is located at the head of the table lamp and on top of the driver housing of the floor lamp.
While the aluminium reflector and steel base are anodized either black or aluminium, the metal rod is always finished in shiny chrome, and the cable and driver housing are always black.
The integrated LEDs are powerful and offer a high quality of light: warm white, dimmable and with high colour rendering, creating a natural colour perception and a pleasant, homely atmosphere. The lamps with Dim-To-Warm function also let the light colour grow warmer when dimmed down and thus offer a spectrum from bright reading light to soft, atmospheric background lighting. The light is both continuously dimmable and dimmable in seven steps.
Such great functionality and diverse lighting effects, coupled with the clear design, enable the use of the HALO LED lights in a wide variety of contexts in living spaces and work areas.

The Halo LED lights are not externally dimmable.
