Float is an ingenious design, created by Mario Alessiani in collaboration with Axolight, and which appeals with multifunctionality. Float can be used indoors and outdoors and serves as a table lamp, floor lamp and suspension lamp.
Float has a round, plate-shaped light shade. It is made of lacquered aluminium, the structure is made of stainless steel and the diffuser of polycarbonate. The exchangeable lithium battery, conveniently reloadable with the USB cable comprised in the delivery, is located inside the shade. At maximum power, Float illuminates during up to nine hours. A sophisticated touch system enables to switch Float on and off and to dim it at five levels simply by softly touching it.
Axo Light Float's special feature is the removable shade enabling to flexibly modify the light fixture's function. The Float floor lamp and the Float table lamp are delivered with a straight light stem and a round base of stainless steel. Both can also serve as a suspension with special accessories. Because of the hole in the shade's underside, it is possible to place Float on bottle collars and create a decorative lighting object with exceptional character. By using Float rechargeable light fixtures, there are only few limits set to creativity and their multifunctionality makes them unique and ideally suited to meet modern lighting requirements.
All Float light fixtures are equipped with IP55 protection class and can serve indoors and outdoors. Their simple design adapts to a variety of contexts. The LED light shines diffusely and atmospherically, lending an air of cosiness to the space.
For reloading, it is possible to separate the shade from the structure and conveniently carry it to the power supply source, without moving the whole light fixture.
