Axis71 Lights & Lamps

Axis71 based in Belgium was first a gallery founded 1971 in Paris, France. Thirty years later its director Patrick Vossen turned it into a lighting manufacture. Vossen refers as haute-couture luminaires to his products. Since its early years Axis71 works in collaboration with passionate designers with a high level of know-how. Axis71 had the privilege to work together with the famous belgian designer and inventor Christophe Gevers who created Axis71 Tube T. Henriette Michaux is another famous designer known for her poetic designs like pure suspension Chiara from blown glass who worked for Axis71.

Today under head designer Stéphane Lebrun, Axis71 continues to create high-quality lighting fixtures that ally classical spirit and contemporary quality. These trend-setting luminaires are appreciated in restaurants, bars, hotels and boutiques around the world.

The Memory series with floor lamps in various sizes, table lamps, suspensions and wall lamps features a rectilinear shade that looks classical at first sight but capable of producing a warm of coloured light when lined with fuchsia or gold or a colder light when the innerside of the shade is white or grey. The shade of the Manhattan series exudes a discreet luxury due to its interesting cut. The very elegant series S71 by Axis71 seduces with a conical stem and an original structure that serves to hold the shade. This very refined series is also produced in a special version for the exclusive furniture brand Roche Bobois.

True to the haute-couture spirit, the Axis71 luminaires can all be customized to perfectly adapt to given architectural projects worldwide. They are to be found in Europe, in the US, in South America, on Saint-Barthelemy or in the Middle-East. Axis71 shows ecological awarness and uses now halogene lamps instead of incandescent ones. In the future, the brand has the project to introduce LED in its designs.
