About the Collection Artemide Vitruvio

The suspension Vitruvio by Artemide was designed by Atelier Oï, and unites the beauty of traditionally made glass with the metallic structure's graphic elegance.

The diffuser's ball is made of blown glass and is transparent, making visible the lamp and the socket located inside, as well as the appealing supporting structure composed of three oblique rods on which the glass ball's inside is resting. Because of the grooved glass, Vitruvio does not glare and has a charming appearance. The light is diffracted, and the metallic pieces seem deformed. Vitruvio is available in two versions: with a brass-coloured metallic structure and transparent glass, and with a black lacquered structure and a smokey grey glass, which attenuates the light and creates a special atmosphere.
