The Vine Light LED lamps by Artemide combine visual purism with maximal freedom of movement. The collection includes a table lamp, a floor lamp and two wall lamps with different arm lengths, all flexibly adjustable for different lighting effects. The design comes from the studio BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group.
The structure is made of extruded aluminium in the shape of a slender tube. The base and lamp head connect to the body as harmonious extensions. The joints that connect these three elements allow for a very large range of motion. The reflector head and joints are made of aluminium, the diffuser is made of technopolymer and the base is made of zamak. With the exception of the diffuser, all parts are designed in black and appear as a single element, a black line whose curves look different depending on the shape and viewing angle, setting unique, graphic accents.
The reflector head is ring-shaped and equipped with a diffuser along most of its length, so that the light shines widely and powerfully in one direction. The direction is freely adjustable as the head can be tilted 350° and swiveled 359°. Another joint gives mobility to the structure; depending on the model, it can be swiveled sideways or tilted forwards and backwards.
The Vine Lights are controlled vith a touch dimmer on the lamp head. It is seamlessly integrated into the structure and enables convenient and intuitive operation. With just a few simple steps, the light of the Vine Lights can be switched on or deactivated, adjusted to the desired brightness and directed as desired. The lamps playfully switch between different tasks, provide bright work light, soft indirect background lighting or flexible accents. Even when switched off, the lamps appeal with their minimalist design, looking like delicate sculptures that set clear visual accents, especially in front of white walls and in modern interiors.
