About the Collection Artemide Scopas
The futurist Scopas suspension by Artemide possesses the charm of the unfinished. It was designed by Neil Poulton.
At first glance, Scopas appears unfinished. Several round LED modules are put together as to form a ball, also featuring holes through which it is possible to look at the modules' back side inside the light body. The light's asymmetrical shape takes on a different appearance depending on the view angle. Scopas is eye-catching even when the light is off, thanks to the strong contrasts in black and white. It is a modern artistic object with a sculptural charm.
The extraordinary light seems to float in the room. Scopas made of methacrylate, ABS and aluminium, and equipped with warm white LEDs is an especially contemporary light source which is ideally suited for modern interiors and public spaces.
The light fixture can be controlled with the Artemide application.
