The Rea LED wall lamps by Artemide were designed by Neil Poulton and are characterized by a clear, fluid shape. The collection comprises LED wall lamps in two sizes.
"Rea is a small reflection of itself, a leaning, dividing amoeba. Or maybe Star Trek's Enterprise, should the designer be influenced by childhood's dreams" as Neil Poulton describes its design.
The two round plates, connected at right angle, resemble the Enterprise space shuttle's iconic shape. They serve as a wall fixation and a reflector: the LEDs are integrated in the horizontal reflector plate's top and shine their light glare-free, indirectly and diffusely upwards.
Rea has an especially discreet appearance when installed as a single piece or in rows and blends in perfectly with the white wall thanks to its simplicity and small, compact shape.
